Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Maun to Moremi Game Reserve
Meet your guide at Maun Airport, receive a safari briefing and depart for Moremi Game Reserve in a safari-equipped vehicle. The journey towards the Xini area offers your first look at Botswana’s wilderness, with possible wildlife encounters along the way.
After arriving at camp, head out for an afternoon game drive if time permits. Return for a freshly prepared dinner and your first night in Moremi.
Day 2: Moremi Morning and Afternoon Game Drives
Begin early with breakfast and a morning game drive through Moremi’s varied habitats. Your guide will search for elephants, buffalo, antelope, predators and birdlife while interpreting behaviour, tracks and the surrounding landscape.
Return to camp for brunch and a rest, then explore again in the afternoon before dinner beneath the stars.
Day 3: Moremi to Khwai
Start with breakfast, a guided nature walk where conditions allow and a short game drive before continuing towards Khwai. The approximately three-hour journey is a game-viewing experience in itself as you travel through the wider ecosystem.
Arrive at the Magotho camping area for brunch and a rest, then visit Khwai village to meet local residents and learn about community life. Return for dinner and stories around the fire.
Day 4: Khwai to Savuti
Enjoy a final morning game drive in Khwai before setting out for Savuti, approximately three to four hours away depending on road conditions and sightings. Savuti is known for its dramatic landscapes, elephants and predators.
After brunch and time to settle into camp, take your first Savuti game drive, then return for dinner and the sounds of the wilderness.
Day 5: Savuti Game Drives
Spend a full day discovering Savuti, beginning with a morning game drive after a light breakfast. Return for brunch and an afternoon rest before heading out again as the temperature cools and wildlife becomes more active.
End the day with dinner and fireside storytelling at camp.
Day 6: Savuti to Kasane
After breakfast, pack and leave Savuti for Kasane. The drive takes approximately three hours, depending on road conditions and stops. On arrival, enjoy lunch before drop-off at Kasane Airport, your Kasane accommodation or the border according to your confirmed arrangements.
Important Route Note
The supplied programme contains six days and finishes in Kasane. Victoria Falls is not included in this version. If a Victoria Falls extension is available, present it as a separately confirmed add-on with its own duration, transfers, border requirements and inclusions.
