Baxanekhwe Safaris is a mobile-tented safari owned by a professional guide with 30+ years’ experience Teko Mbwe Ketlogetswe and his wife Tshwarry Ketlogetswe who also have experience in the tourism industry as she worked with different safari companies and lodges before. With their experience, knowledge, and love for the industry, they decided to share this with more people around the world and have their own safari business.

Teko can be described as a natural born guide meaning that to him being a guide was his call to this world. He didn't have to go to school to learn about it, it just came natural to him. He was born in 1960 in a small village called Tsabaoro deep in the Delta and bred in the Delta. Growing up his life was all about hunting and fishing as it was their way of survival. He learn all tracks of animals and their behaviour from his childhood then he became a guide in 1986. From 1986 till present he worked with different respectable safari companies. Even now some of the top companies still hire him as a freelancing guide since they like his work and their clients still ask for him.

Many guides in our region have learnt a lot from him and his experiences from childhood till now has made him a better person and guide at the same time.Through this journey he learnt to communicate well with different people of different ages and cultures.
